How reliable is the ULPowers Engine Control Unit (ECU) system?

The ECU (Engine Control Unit) used for the ULPower engine engine has been specially developed, and thoroughly tested. Every possible "overvoltage" or short-circuit has been simulated to be sure that the ECU goes on working in every condition.

We have about 15 years experience with this ECU for other applications without any failure.

The ECU deserves a lot of thrust, time has proven how reliable and well shielded from electronic and magnetic radiation these units are.

However, for extreme safety, we offer a completely redundant, dual channel ECU combination. (5 possibilities are available, see here)
